Be the Resource

Resource fairs are local community events with the aim of providing information about a project and raising awareness of issues impacting the community. For the month of March, employees from PIC’s Family Preservation Network (FPN), Mental Health Program (MH) and Prevention and Aftercare Services (PAS) attended the KIPP Sol Academy resource fair. Pictured left to right, Dora Aquino (FPN), Jasmine Rose (PAS), April McClellan (MH) and Tamarra Conner (MH) attended the KIPP Sol Academy resource fair which focused on supporting efforts to ensure disadvantaged youth gain access to opportunity, equality, education and resource higher education breaking the cycle of poverty. Shannon Smith was also in attendance to speak on behalf of PIC’s Foster Family Agency (FFA)/Resource Parenting Program.
